Meet our pumpkin family

I couldn't resist a few nice pictures before we got to work on our pumpkins. Colby's personality is coming out more and more and it tends to be very funny
"Mom, see how strong I am"
Mommy and her boys
and Mommy I was so excited to find cute and easy ways to decorate our pumpkins that the kids could do all by themselves

"who does he look like?"
"Mom, do you like mine?, he looks like me"
Austin did Daddy Dog
and Colby did Mommy Dog
Sean got pretty creative and the boys thought his was funny

I hope you have enjoyed the beginning of our Halloween Journey.
We love our pumpkins and I didn't have to clean or carve any of them.
Pat, we miss you.

Hayride, pumpkins and messes

October sure has gotten here fast and I am happy about that because that means we are getting closer to seeing Pat. Here is Colby making a mess with powdered sugar and waffles. He decided while I was out of the room that his waffles needed more "sugars" so he helped himself. The part you don't see is that I had already dropped the whole container of powdered sugar when I was getting it out of the pantry and I had just cleaned the whole kitchen before going upstairs to get Austin and then I came downstairs to find Colby covered in it so I then had to clean him and get him ready for school again. Yes, this was all while trying to get out the door to school and work.
We love fall and by living in Utah it doesn't seem to last long. So I loaded all the kids up and took them up north for a hayride and pumpkin picking. They even got to pick a pumpkin for Daddy.

On the hayride
Waiting to find our pumpkins
Per Austin.. "Mom, I want this one but it's too heavy and oh wait..it's dirty, we can't have this one because it's dirty"
Per Colby..." This is a lot of pumpkins, which one is mine"
Per Mom "Got our pumpkins and ready to go....who is going to carve all of these since Daddy is not here?"
Stay tuned to see our pumpkins....

New PJs, Halloween sacks for Soldiers and more

The boys have grown so much since last year that we had to buy all new PJs. As you can see they first picked out Cars....Colby is playing frozen boy right now. Not quite sure what they were doing, I was just trying to get them both to look at the camera.
Colby doing his silly pose for Daddy, he said something about "this is the way Daddy does it"
or does Daddy do it this way.....maybe both
We decided along with the help of our wonder Sunday School class to make 50 Halloween goody bags for Pat's soldiers.
We had the kitchen counter and table covered in candy and the boys were going crazy.
I told them they could each have one piece when were done with the sacks because the Soldiers come first and they agreed and waited until we were done to pick their candy.
Don't get me wrong they kept reminding me the whole time which kind of candy they wanted.
The boys love bath time and it's nice that they are big enough to actually play for awhile, except when water covers my entire bathroom to include the walls.
They were also very excited that I bought them every own popcorn holder for our movie nights. Don't worry Daddy we bought one for you too and it's waiting on you to return.
Movie nights are not the same with Daddy and we miss him so much. We love you!

Happenings in Sept

So I am just getting around to some of our happenings from September. Yes, my Colby is sound asleep. How he keeps from rolling all the way down the stairs is amazing to me. I have found him there more times than I would like too. He is always sound asleep too.
I decided to take the boys to Liberty Park for a picnic and some playing. We had such a good time and the boys loved it. They ask me all the time when am I going to take them back.

Colby locked in the castle
Colby wanted all the food laid out so we could all share..that meant he wanted to eat from all our food as well. We had lunchables, grapes, pretzels, cereal, fruit snacks and suckers. Not sure how nutritious it was but at least they ate it.
Colby enjoying his picnic.

My sweet Austin enjoying his picnic dinner too.
Colby taking a break on the turtle. They ran non stop the whole time we were there.
Fall Fashion for 2009. As you can see Austin color coordinated his green PJ shorts with the striped bag.....full crayons in case you are wondering.
And then we have Colby who decided to accessorize his outfit with this beach hat. Bag full of cars in case you are curious.
We also had a picnic in the backyard one day and yes by boys are eating chips with their toes. Who said they don't take after their Daddy???
Pure O'Leary blood and talent
And the final booboo. Colby was walking on the hardwood floor in sock feet and slipped. The only thing that hit was his head. It was huge knot and scared me pretty bad.
We had a pretty good September and enjoyed the weather while it was still nice and not too hot. We still miss Pat very much and look at the stars every night.
The boys blow him a star every night and then he will blow it back to them so every night they look for Polaris to see if Daddy sent it.
Stay safe Pat and enjoy the photos...we missed you at the pinics.

Trip to Lagoon for Military Families

What a day of fun!!! The families of the 96th SBDE got a wonderful gift from a company here in Utah. They invited us to attend their company day at an amusement park called Lagoon. They rent the entire park for the evening. They even made us t-shirts so employees could thank us, we even got our dinner paid for. Here are some random pics of that day with me, Colby, Austin and Sean.
Sean tried his best to take our picture but the movement kept throwing him off.

Oh my goodness they are already driving
and flying, who knows maybe they will take after their Mommy and Daddy one day

All Colby and Austin wanted to do was SHOOT
and shoot some more
They could not decide who would drive and who would ring the bell
Do I have the cutest boys, or what?
Colby was showing me how big he is.

My sweet Austin.

Thank you NuSkin for a wonderful night out that all 3 of my boys enjoyed and so did Mom.
