To close out our Christmas Eve traditions we read Twas the Night Before Christmas, the story or Jesus' birth from the Bible and ended with a family movie.
The boys loved snuggling together to watch Polar Express, as Pat and I planned to keep them up a little later than normal hoping they would not get up so early.
The boys were so excited to read their stories with their Daddy. This is their tradition and one day they will be too big to sit in his lap, but for now, they are a perfect fit.
I bet next year my boys are reading to their Daddy
Now off to bed they wemt and ecstatic they were. They could not wait for the next morning and they both promised us they would be listening for Santa but would not look out the window or get out of bed.
