Arkansas Lake Fun

We were so excited for a quick trip to Arkansas to visit family and friends and attend my 20 year class reunion. The reunion update will be later but for now I wanted to talk about about my boys and their love of water. They took swim lessons but there is a big difference in a pool where they can see the bottom and the lake where they can see nothing. They were bound and determined to be big like Matthew, Sean and Lauren and to do everything they did. Pat and Mike watching Austin jump from the "Big Boy" jump.

Pat got creative and had the kids jumping over floats. Believe it or not both Colby and Austin made it every time.

Matthew needed more of a challenge so he had to jump and try and catch a football Pat would throw at him.

So leave it to my Austin to get caught running around naked. He was smart enough to pick up his beach ball for cover. I love these expressions. He is definitely saying "Mommmmm stop".

Colby and Austin loved the noodles to help them float.

And back to more jumping.

They wore Pa-pa's pier out while we were there and the best part is they slept like a rock every night. All the grandkids love going to Pa-pa's lake house because they play all day, every day.

What a great vacation with my best friend who was not around much last summer due to being in Iraq. It was so nice to see him playing with the boys and Matthew and Lauren. It was so wonderful to relax, laugh and spend time with my family.

My handsome husband who I love very much and am so glad he was there with me.
