We camped in Green River park which we weren't sure about until we got there. No one had ever stayed there that we knew of and as we drove into town, I got worried. The town had one grocery store, one restaurant and one truck stop.
Once we pulled through the gate we saw a very nice campground right next to a golf course. Pat immediately had wished he had brought his golf clubs. We actually had the two nicest spots in the campground.
The boys loved helping set up the tent and exploring. They also became true boys and climbed their first tree. They did pretty good going up but both got stuck and couldn't get back down.
I love seeing them grow and become young boys, moving out of the toddler phase that is for sure.

Goblin Valley
We took a short day trip to Goblin Valley and it was right down the boys' lane. Most of the rocks were small enough they could climb on them and climb they did.
Austin was leading the way and doing a great job until....
he got tired a needed a ride from Bryce.
Double trouble
Love seeing my boys have a great time exploring
Just a quick break
Hero man!
I love my family
Yes, Pat thinks he is king
Sean and Bryce at the top, no one else had the energy or desire to climb to the top
Lake Powell Fun
We had the privilege to spend a week of our summer vacation with our friends the Montrone's on a houseboat in Lake Powell. I do believe at one time there were about 22 people on the boat. We had a great time. Here is a photo of the cove and the houseboat. It was was peaceful and calm.
From the top deck, this is where we would sit at night and have dinner and drinks and just reflect on the day.
We took a couple of day trips out to explore some the canyons and it was amazing. There is no way to explain it is something everyone should see in person.
One of the tour guides. I am quite certain Austin knew exactly where we needed to go.
Mommy and Colby just chillin in the back on the way back to the houseboat.
Mommy and boys just having a good ole time for the afternoon.
Monster boys on the boat.
Pat cooking up our favorite sausage to share with everyone.
All four of us headed out to explore....this was before Austin grabbed the throttle and dumped all 4 of us off in the water where Pat came up with a bloody nose.
Sean and Pat headed out to tear up the lake.
Pat teaching the boys how to fish...hope they catch something soon.
Luckily they both caught a fish.
Shower time. Colby was not sure about taking a shower in the lake with his swimsuit on and life jacket but he went along with it.
In one of the coves where we had lunch, drinks, showers and fun
Pat and Colby out for a little father-son time

Our first trip to the lake
We finally got our boat out of storage and ready for the lake for this summer. The boys couldn't wait to get it in the water.
They had such a good time that they all 3 crashed as we drove back to the boat ramp. Yes, Austin was asleep in this picture.
Austin was telling Sean to slow down as he was wake boarding. I am not sure how he thought Sean would be able to slow down but he meant it.
Colby was doing a great job watching Sean and holding the orange safety flag.
Our boys had a great time chillin on the lake
The coolest, most handsome driver
