Gettting ready for Easter

What is more fun than dying Easter eggs in our house. Nothing by the look on Pat's face. The boys were super excited to dye their eggs. So I boiled a dozen eggs thinking that would be more than enough. Austin and Colby are ready to get started
And he's off

Austin got his started as well

and if you notice there are not any more pictures because they each did one egg then wanted to go watch their TV show. Pat and I ended up doing the rest of the eggs. Next year we may stick to plastic.

For those that saw the Easter Movie Hop, he made his stop by our house and even left us proof that he hopped all over the house. In the movie, he pooped jelly beans so we found jelly beans all over our stairs and floors. The boys were very excited to see the jelly beans because they knew that meant he had been there but they refused to pick any of them up and put them in the trash can. Too funny!

You'll also notice Austin decided to get dressed in his Army clothes before coming downstairs.

Austin was happy to see his jelly beans in a bag.
Finding eggs.

One happy lil boy

Austin was shaking his egg to see if it was money or candy.

Stay tuned for more pictures of Easter egg hunting.

Boys start T-Ball

As if we have a lot of free time in our lives we signed the boys up for their first year of T-Ball. They are the youngest on the team of Grasshoppers, which consists of 4-7 year olds. I happen to think that is a pretty large age gap, but we wanted them to get a taste of it this year. The good thing is they love it. In fact what was suppose to be T-Ball actually turned into coach pitch. They get 4 pitches and if they don't hit one of them, then they use the tee. So far the boys have been able to hit most of the pitches. Austin wating his turn to bat.
Colby waiting on his turn and was super excited

Austin wants them to hit the ball to him

Colby was tired and ready to go home because it got cold

Colby's first hit and he carried the bat all the way to first base

We are really enjoying the season and with only 4 games left, we are not sure what we will do with free time again. Keep up the good work Grasshoppers.
