Halloween

What a fun Halloween for the boys this year and thanks to Matthew who supplied the costumes. Austin was Peter Pan and Colby was Captain Hook. The only thing we couldn't find was a hat so I attempted to make one.

Sean had a party and went as Alfalfa. He decided to add the glasses for style. The boys also had a Halloween party at Taekwondo and Colby was Peter Pan and Austin was an astronaut.Another year of fun and way too much candy!

Turkey Bowl 2011

What would Thanksgiving be without a good ole game of football. We had about 40 dads and sons show up for the Turkey Bowl today. Since we live in Utah it seemed to be Texas vs BYU. So we went prepared for the game. Love these boys....they make my heart smile
Colby was ready to get after those flags, even if Sean was on his team.Pat played in the adult game and thank goodness he did not hurt his knee or any other body parts. Pat loved being out there. Colby needed a lil break.
Austin grabbed the loose ball and he was off to the end zonePat was ready to launch.... It was a nice quiet Thanksgiving with my family and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. We had a nice meal, good football and lots of laughs. I am so thankful for my family because I am one blessed Mom.

Dinosaur Park

We bought tickets to the local dinosaur park and thought the boys would love it. As it turned out Austin did love it and Colby was scared almost the whole time. It didn't help that Pat kept making noises as we would walk by one. And we are off to explore
These are our scary faces!
Austin's new friend
Colby not liking the new friend
Austin had on the perfect shirt

Sean's first hunting trip

It was once again time for the annual deer hunting trip to Lusk, Wyoming. Sean was very excited that this year he was going. He completed all of his Hunter Safety requirements, got a new gun for his birthday and was ready for his first kill. This is Pat's.
Sean's first antelope!

So proud of him.

First morning out on the mountain waiting for a deer.

Sean now has the hunting fever and I am sure there will be many many more hunting trips with Pat.
