Easter 2010

Another holiday to teach the boys the real meaning of. It was nice to teach them about the resurrection and to hear them repeat it to others. They are such smart young boys and I can't wait to see them walk in the path of the Lord. My two handsome boys all ready for church. Austin couldn't wait to show everyone his new belt.
Wow, they were very surprised at what the Easter Bunny left.
It was quite the experience dying the eggs with the boys. They loved doing them. Our final products. I think they turned out just great. More importantly....no big messes to clean up.
Funny face time.
"Look, I did these all by myself".
This is a special one for Daddy from Mommy
The boys had a hard time leaving the eggs for the Easter bunny to hide. The sad part is the Easter bunny was on her way to bed when she realized she had not hidden the eggs!
Sunday morning surprises
We got so much cool stuff. Austin's favorite gift was his belt and Colby's favorite gift was his sunglasses
We had a very nice Easter at church and then lunch with the Fontenots. The only piece missing was Pat.

Closure to our AR trip

We were all sad our trip had to come to an end. The good part is it didn't come to an end until we had a lot of fun. Colby is ready to bowl and Austin was busy dividing up teams
Buddies
Austin taking a picture of Mom to prove she did go on the trip
Matthew giving Austin some tips

Colby and his buddy
Austin discovered he liked pickles and ate like 5 of them
Uncle Nate giving motorcycle rides while Aunt Anna was gone
Austin and Colby loved the scooter and bike

Ok Mom, watch out here I come...
Hey what is Aunt Anna doing on it?
Don't let go Mommy
We are blazing so watch out
Colby did great and did not want Mommy to hold on
Austin loved Lauren's helmet

I love my Buddy!
Austin and Lauren playing together
Lauren and Matthew were both so great about sharing all of their stuff from their rooms, toys, games, movies etc. Colby and Austin loved hanging out with them and thinks we should go back to Arkansas every day.
Time to board the plane, relax and sleep. Thanks to Uncle Nate they slept the whole flight. I loved being home with my family and it made me realize how blessed I am to have the family I do. Just wish my Mom had been there to enjoy all of her kids and grand kids. She would have loved every minute of it.
Thanks for enjoying our trip to Arkansas.

Cabin Fun in Arkansas

I know I am still catching up on our trip to Arkansas but here are some of my favorites from the cabin. It's hard enough to get 2 boys to look and smile at the camera but try 6 kids...at least a few turned out ok.
Lauren and Austin had the giggles
Matthew was tickling Colby, John was just along for the ride and Mia was not interested
He never leaves home unprepared...yes it was snowing but you never know when the sun might pop out

Dinner and good times
Colby has no idea what Lauren is doing
Silly Colby
Snuggle time while watching a movie
Helping Uncle Nate drive the tractor
Nothing like 4 wheeling
Even Grandpa took them for rides
Colby got the first ride
"Where's Uncle Nate, I'm ready"
