Starting a routine without Daddy

The boys and I have started to try and figure out what our routine is going to be and believe it or not the boys are adjusting pretty well. I am so proud of them. In these first few pictures of me and each boy the other one is actually taking the picture. I guess Pat will have to rely on our 3yr olds to take pictures of me over the next year.

The funny part is that our camera is as big as their head so I end of moving around to make sure I am in front of the camera. But for 3 yr olds I think they did pretty good.
Mommy did not have the nerve to set up our 10 person tent in the backyard so we camped and had a picnic in the living room floor. The boys were totally happy with that. They do not sleep without their Daddy blankets.
Austin, my sweet boy getting all comfortable and ready for the movie.
Colby is tucked in and ready for cuddling with Mommy and watching a movie.
They actually made room for me and thank goodness I was able to figure out the timer on our camera. The technological things I am having to figure these days has my head spinning.
Colby and Austin both got new big boy pillows, with pillow cases and sheets.
Austin getting ready for prayers on his new big boy pillow.
Special Friday night pizza dinner and getting to eat in the living room. Yes, we call it a special treat.
Watch this shot Mom!
Pat and I were apart for our 7th anniversary but he had roses delivered to me at Church by friends of ours. What a sweetheart. I sure miss my best friend and love of my life.
Summer fun in the backyard. We are doing well and just taking life one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. This year is definitely not going to be the same without Pat, but we are a tough family and will get through it and hopefully everything will be back to normal this time next year. Thank you to each of you for your support, prayers and babysitting. Some of you are true life savors and I totally appreciate you helping me keep my sanity.
Stay tuned for more updates and pictures.
Pat, hope you enjoy the updates as well. We miss you and are so proud of you.
